Our Foundation oversees the operations of St. Luke’s Family Practice to ensure it is continuing to provide excellent healthcare to the underserved of our community.
We cover doctor visits and any in-office treatment or testing at no charge. This includes general office exams, female gynecologic exams with pap smear, pediatric exams, and well child checks.
We perform basic lab studies that include urinalysis, blood sugar, urine pregnancy tests, hemoglobin, INR tests for patients on blood thinners, electrocardiograms (EKG), basic breathing tests, hearing screenings, and common viral testing.
We perform basic skin procedures such as suturing and skin biopsies, and apply splints and casts for sprains and simple broken bones in the office.
For all the services that St. Luke’s does not provide, we connect the underserved to vetted and committed organizations that can continue care in their specialties. This helps our patients get the help they need at a far lower cost — or at no cost.
