About St. Luke’s Family Foundation

Our team is composed of thoughtful and innovative community leaders who believe in the work of St. Luke’s Family Practice. They ensure that the medical practice is staying true to our mission.

Direct Primary Care

Get the care you need, when and where you need it.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a new model of payment that circumvents traditional insurance for primary care services and allows doctors to provide more time and easier access for their patients. DPC is a return to an enduring personal relationship between patients and their doctors. Direct Primary Care replaces fee-for-service incentives with a simple flat monthly or annual fee. This strengthens the doctor-patient relationship and is the key to achieving greater patient satisfaction, superior health outcomes, and lower costs.

History

St. Luke’s Family Foundation (SLFF) was developed in 2015 to separate our funding and medical practice activity. SLFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its own status, separate from the medical practice. The job of the foundation is to oversee the medical group and to ensure that the medical group is serving its intended purpose of providing free outpatient healthcare to those without access to regular medical care.
